Terms of Service for DPP Agent

Last Updated: 2026-06-08

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dppagent.com and the related services (the "Service"), operated by BlippaCo AB, Sweden ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you accept these Terms.

1. The Service

DPP Agent is a standards-compliant Digital Product Passport platform built for the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), Article 13 of the French Anti-Waste Law (AGEC) and the CEN/CENELEC EN 18216–18223 series. The Service lets brands issue, host, version and serve Digital Product Passports under their own GS1 Digital Link identifiers.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for businesses and their authorised representatives. You must be at least 16 years old and have authority to bind the brand you act for.

3. Account

You sign in using a Supabase Auth magic link or Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure. Tell us at legal@blippa.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Brand and passport data

You retain ownership of all brand and passport data you put into the Service. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that data for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you. We act as a data processor under GDPR; see our Privacy Policy for details.

You are responsible for the accuracy of every Digital Product Passport you publish. Per our long-standing policy, the Service never fabricates field values: AI assists with mapping, but a human at your organisation must confirm before any passport is written or status-flipped to active.

5. Compliance and EN 18216–18223

The Service implements EN 18216 (content negotiation), EN 18219 (identifier persistence), EN 18221 (storage and archiving including the backup-host requirement of §4.3), EN 18222 (read APIs) and EN 18223 (header attributes). Annex ZA in each standard provides presumption of conformity against ESPR Article 11.

We maintain a contractually designated backup-host arrangement so each tenant inherits backup-host coverage out of the box.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

7. Subscriptions and billing

Free, light and custom (Blippa-hosted) tiers are available. Paid plans bill monthly or annually in EUR via Stripe. Quotas are enforced per tenant. Plan downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Refunds for unused months are at our discretion except where local law requires otherwise.

If we do not yet display a public price for a tier, we will quote it on request. Until then, internal pricing is confidential.

8. Availability

We target 99.9% monthly availability for the consumer-facing passport surface. The operator and brand admin consoles target 99.5%. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance. We do not guarantee specific uptimes outside of paid SLA agreements.

9. Backup-host obligation (EN 18221 §4.3)

If we cease operations, the contractually designated backup-host takes over the persistent identifiers and archived passport content. The brand retains its passport URLs and identifier scheme through this transition. We will notify operators in writing at least 90 days before any planned cessation.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, are 30 days past due on payment, or pose a security risk. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal.

Termination does not delete passport content we are legally required to archive under EN 18221 (see Privacy Policy §7).

11. Intellectual property

All software, designs, schemas and documentation in the Service are owned by BlippaCo AB or licensed to us. You may use them only as the Service intends. The standard ESPR templates and the AI suggestion schemas are not your work product; the data you put through them is.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep passport content accurate and accessible, but we make no warranty that AI suggestions, scope-scan results or analytics counts are error-free. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of any passport you publish.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify BlippaCo AB against third-party claims arising from your passport content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

15. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden, unless mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence requires otherwise.

16. Changes

We will update these Terms when the Service changes materially. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. We will notify operator accounts by email for significant changes.
